What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your computer, phone or other device when you visit. They allow the website to recognize your device, remember your preferences and understand how the site is used.
Cookies set by the website you are visiting are called first-party cookies. Cookies set by another company, such as an analytics provider, are called third-party cookies. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser, while persistent cookies stay on your device until they expire or you delete them.
Other technologies work in a similar way, such as local storage, which saves information in your browser, and pixels (also called web beacons), which are tiny images or scripts that record when a page or email is viewed. In this policy, "cookies" covers these similar technologies too.
How we use cookies and ask for your consent
This Cookie Policy applies to industrialprominence.com, which is operated by Prominence LLC dba Industrial Prominence. We keep our use of cookies to a minimum.
Under EU and UK law, including the ePrivacy rules and the GDPR, we may only store or access non-essential cookies on your device with your prior consent. When you first visit our website, a cookie banner lets you accept or reject optional cookies, or choose by category. Optional cookies stay switched off until you choose to allow them.
We store your choice in a first-party cookie called ip_consent for 12 months. After that, or if you clear your cookies, we will ask you again.
Refusing optional cookies does not affect your ability to browse the website or contact us. Some embedded third-party features, such as a scheduling widget or a video, may not load until you allow them. You can still reach us by email at any time.
Categories of cookies
- Strictly necessary (always active): needed for the website to work securely and to remember your cookie choices. They do not require consent and cannot be switched off in our cookie settings. They are not used to track you across other websites.
- Analytics (opt-in): help us understand how visitors use the website, such as which pages are most visited and how people find us, so we can improve it. They are used only if you consent.
- Marketing (opt-in): may be set by third-party services embedded on our website, such as a scheduling widget or a video player. We do not set any marketing cookies by default and we do not use advertising pixels. Services in this category are activated only if you consent.

An asterisk (*) means the cookie name ends with a unique string. Durations shown are maximums. You can delete cookies earlier at any time.
Google Analytics and Consent Mode
Google Analytics is optional on our website. If we use Google Analytics 4, it is set up with Google Consent Mode, so the analytics tag loads and analytics cookies are set only after you consent to analytics cookies. If you refuse or do not make a choice, no analytics cookies are set.
Google Analytics helps us understand, in aggregate, how the website is used. Google processes this information on our behalf. According to Google, Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. To learn more, see how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Third-party services and embedded content
We may embed third-party services on our website, such as a scheduling tool (for example, Calendly) to book calls, or a video player. These providers may set their own cookies when you interact with their content. We load them only after you consent, and the provider, not us, controls those cookies. Please read the provider's own cookie and privacy policies for details.
We do not use advertising pixels by default. Our fonts are hosted on our own servers, so loading our pages does not send requests to Google Fonts or other font services.
How to manage or withdraw your consent
You can change your mind at any time. To review or change your choices, click the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of any page, or use the button below.
Withdrawing consent stops optional cookies from being used from that point on. It does not affect anything that happened before you withdrew. To remove cookies already stored on your device, you can also delete them in your browser settings.
Browser controls
Most browsers let you view, block and delete cookies, and some let you block third-party cookies only. These settings are usually found in the browser's "Settings", "Privacy" or "Help" menu. The settings apply to each browser and device separately.
If you block all cookies, including strictly necessary ones, parts of the website may not work as intended, and we will not be able to remember your cookie choices, so the cookie banner may appear on each visit.
Other ways to opt out
- Google Analytics opt-out: Google offers a browser add-on that stops Google Analytics from collecting information about your visits to any website that uses it.
- Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and of targeted advertising. We do not sell or share personal information or use cookies for targeted advertising. To refuse optional analytics or marketing cookies, use our cookie settings.
For more on how we handle personal information, including your privacy rights, see our Privacy Policy.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, for example if we add or remove a service or if the law changes. When we do, we will post the updated policy on this page and change the date below. If a change affects the optional cookies we use, we will ask for your consent again where required.
